And although John is a good sport, practical and sensible in all matters,
he absolutely draws the line at wearing the shirt that came with them.
We forgot to mention the jeans that were commandeered from a buxom Mattel female doll.
They're a pretty good fit, and he's grateful.
Even a Leave-it-to-Beaver shirt is a blessing since his only clothes are
a pair of boxers, a bathrobe, an apron, and a tuxedo.
Oh. And 2 pairs of shoes and socks; not a good look with most of the above. John distinctly remembers those striped cotton polo shirts that he wore when he was 10,
Marie calls it his Leave-it-to-Beaver shirt.
John got the first sweater.
She's an obsessive knitter, and launched into slippers and sweaters.
The slippers were a hit.
(John's 2nd one has yet to materialize. And one of Lillian's got lost during the last photo session.)
Before Christmas, Lillian got a real deal on variegated yarn.
Long staple Egyptian cotton; wonderful to work with.
